INGREDIENTS
Cake:

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups splenda sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 3/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp table salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup 1% low-fat buttermilk
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup canola oil
  • 3 tsp lemon zest, grated
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups diced apples, cooked til soft

Glaze:

  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk (or more if it is too thick)
